We've always enjoyed hiking. However, we're realizing that hiking in the Southwest is a different experience. The scenery doesn't change much, no matter how many miles you go. The colors are mostly tans and browns, with a bit of faded green.
However, we've found a few interesting places to explore. A nearby box canyon rewarded us with an unexpected view of the valley and sea beyond.
