NASA and Johnson Space Center

When in Houston, we knew we must visit NASA!

We started our day with a tour of Johnson Space Center!  We were able to walk through the ISS mock up where training happens for missions.  So cool!
Then, on past Mission Control!
A Saturn 5 rocket!
We walked through the retired space shuttle Independence, and the plane that transported it.
I realized the older kids need to watch _Apollo 13_ along with _Hidden Figures_ to gain a better appreciation of the work that has happened and the people involved.
Overall, the tour was great.  We were less impressed with the museum and visitors' center. If you've ever been to the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, Kansas, you've seen so much more.
