Travel the USA Part 2: Hot Springs National Park

After three weeks off the road, we were ready to get started on the second half of the trip.  We took two days to drive to Hot Springs National Park, spending one night in a Cracker Barrel parking lot.
The park was lovely, but the Springs and historic bathhouses were amazing!  Water flows from nearly 40 artesian springs at 144 degrees Fahrenheit!
We hiked from our campsite around the mountain to where the springs were.
In the early 1900s, the springs were commercialized, then made into a National Monument. The bathhouses still are there, and several offer spa and "bathing" experiences.
We toured over of the high society bathhouses of the 1920s.
The ladies lounge
Pre and post bathing workout room.
Hot Springs was a relaxing stop on a long drive from Indiana to Houston.
